Neurofeedback is an effective brain training method for treating
many conditions. Clients are able to see their brain activity in
real time, and their brain adapts to the feedback being given
because the brain mimics he stimulation. When the brain acts in
accordance with the therapy given, neurofeedback provides visual
and audial “rewards” to train the brain so that it knows that it
is the right way to do it. Similarly to how we show children how
to use items, allow them to try it out for themselves, and then
give them positive feedback when they do it correctly –
neurofeedback does the same for our brains. It gives our brain
the tools necessary to function at its best, then rewards the
brain for doing what it is supposed to be doing. There are many
different modalities that we use in conjunction with
neurofeedback to achieve the results that each client desires to
see: improvement in brain power and function!
