About Nicole

I'm Dr. Nicole Morris, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and U.S. Navy veteran with over 21 years of military service. I specialize in helping children, teens, and adults better understand and manage their mental health through thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care.

I understand that seeking psychiatric care can feel overwhelming, especially when you're worried about being judged, misunderstood, or prescribed medication you may not need. My goal is to make psychiatric care approachable, informative, and collaborative. I believe you deserve to understand your treatment options and feel confident in the decisions we make together.

I work with individuals experiencing:

  • ADHD, attention difficulties & emotional regulation concerns

  • Anxiety, depression & chronic stress

  • Bipolar disorder & mood instability

  • Trauma-related symptoms & PTSD

  • Intrusive thoughts & sleep disturbances

  • Psychotic symptoms & perceptual disturbances

  • Military-related stress & life transitions

My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric medication management with a whole-person perspective. I consider how sleep, stress, lifestyle, and physical health may influence mental well-being. Medication can be an important part of treatment, but it isn't always the only option. Together, we'll explore what makes sense for your needs, with an emphasis on safety, education, and improving your everyday functioning.

Patients often describe me as calm, thorough, and reassuring. I believe psychiatric appointments should feel like conversations, not rushed medication checks. I'll take the time to listen, explain your options in everyday language, and make sure your questions are answered.

Outside of clinical practice, I'm a Master Gardener who enjoys spending time outdoors. Gardening has shaped the way I think about mental health: just like a garden, our well-being often improves when we create the right conditions for growth, stability, and resilience.
